Two kinds of test

Which door is your child's?

The test depends on the class. Neither is a hard one.

For Play and Nursery

Ten minutes with a teacher, with a parent beside them. They name pictures, play a little and talk. No writing.

The kind of pictures your child may name.

For Class 1 to 4

Three short parts, then a 5-minute chat with a teacher to finish.

50marks in all

45 minutes+ 5-minute oral

Test day

9:00
Arrive at the school gate
Come a little early. A teacher will show you where to go.
9:30 (Play and Nursery: 10:00)
The test begins
Little ones go in with a parent. Older children go in on their own.
During the test
Parents wait in the courtyard
There are seats, water and a teacher to ask.
About 10:45
Everyone goes home
No result is given on the day.
